I had a blast last Saturday with Brandy & Rick for their engagement session. She wanted "Old Florida", so what's more classic about old Florida than a citrus grove. We went out to Celebration of Citrus in Clermont, which is a really neat U-pick-'em grove that's been featured in national magazines.

Brandy & Rick are such fun, down-to-Earth people. I'm so excited about having the opportunity to capture the memories of their wedding next March 24th.

We really enjoyed having the privilege to be a part of Melissa & Jacob's wedding on Nov. 12. We had several different fun portrait sessions with them, including an amazing pre-ceremony meeting under the palm trees at the beach in front of the hotel. Jacob's jaw about fell to the ground when he saw how beautiful Melissa was when she appeared from the beach. It was one of many magical moments with two of the coolest people I've worked with. These two have quickly become friends to me and I look forward to visiting them every summer out in Santa Cruz, California where they live.

Thanks for all the memories, guys! You're the best.

And special thanks also to Mike Buoy (www.mikebuoy.com). Several of the shots that appear in this blog, as well as many in Melissa and Jacob's gallery are from his amazing creative eye. Mike is truly a great photographer and friend. Together, I truly believe our work is as good as anyone's. He's the best! Check out his web site when you have the chance. You'll be as blown away as I am when I see his work. Thanks again, Mike.

Enjoy this sneak peek. The gallery isn't too far behind :o)

What a crazy past couple of weeks! We've had weddings, engagements, kids, and then to really cause me to get overwhelmed, I had equipment problems and shipping delays. But now I've got a day to catch my breath, so I want to show you several different photo shoots.

This particular shoot is with Kara and Dominic at Cocoa Beach a couple weekends ago. When I first met them at a bridal show in August, I knew I wanted to work with them. They were both so friendly and seemed so genuine as people. At the time, I already had a booking, but I actually prayed that the booking I had would move the date -- and would you believe that a week later that actually happened?!

The other thing I love about Kara and Dominic is that they have a beautiful look. She's gorgeous from head to toe, and Dominic could easily double as Superman (Dean Cain). I know who I'm calling if I need two perfect-smiles for model shoots (good thing - they're dentists).

Thanks for a fun time at the beach, Kara and Dominic. Can't wait till April 21st, when we really get to have a fun day at your wedding.
