Ah, the holidays. Time to get refreshed, relaxed and enjoy family.... yeah, right! True, I did get to finally enjoy those rewards of this season, but only after surviving the busiest Fall yet for my studio. In the past few months, we've enjoyed capturing weddings, parties, children, pregnancies, and families from Ocala to Melbourne, to Tampa Bay.

So I took the last two weeks off, with the exception of one special family shoot. One of my favorite new clients this fall, Amy, called me and asked me to come over to St. Pete Beach after Christmas so she could share the Cannonfire Photography Experience with her extended family. I already feel so blessed to have her, her husband Mike and her two precious daughters as clients and new friends, so I knew if the rest of the family was like them, I was in for a fun time at the beach.

Sure enough, that was the case, as we got hundreds of great images of a family that is so filled with love and joy toward each other. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time.

Last night I went over to St. Augustine to meet my May 31st, '08 couple, Ashley and Steve, for a fun evening of holiday engagement photos. We had a great time in the nation's oldest city, and I'm really excited about working with them to create amazing images and memories at their wedding next year.
