Andee & Daniel's Melbourne, Central Florida, Engagement and Wedding

Last weekend I met up with Andee & Daniel to get capture their engagement and wedding imagery. And since Andee is the sister of one of my favorite clients, Trey (and Lizi!), we're doing like I love to do -- keep it in the family! I love showing up at weddings as the photographer and it's like a big reunion of clients that have become like close friends through the journey. I can see the same happening with Andee and Daniel, as these two are just amazing, wonderful people who are so perfect for each other. Congrats to you two, and thanks for inviting us to capture the beauty of your relationship!

Kim & Fayez's Cocoa Village, Central Florida Engagement Session

A couple of weeks ago Kara and I met up with our really fun and crazy October 10th wedding clients, Kim and Fayez. They chose Cocoa Village, Florida, as their locale, as it holds special meaning to them as a couple. We had a great time hanging out and getting to know them before we started shooting. I enjoyed their laughter and joy that they are so obviously filled to overflowing because of how they enjoy God's blessing of each other. These two are going to be an amazing ministry team together, as they continue to seek to give their lives to serving God.

I couldn't be more excited about having the privilege to be their wedding photographer this Fall. Thanks, Kim and Fayez. We hope you enjoy the samples and slideshow presentation: Kim & Fayez's Engagement Session

Milaan Roppa's Six-Month Baby Lifestyle Photography Session, Melbourne, Florida

A couple of weeks ago, I met up with my wonderful clients, Kara and Dominic, to continue through our journey of "Baby's First Year." Together, we've been enjoying capturing each stage of their baby, Milaan's, first year of development. And now that we're halfway through, I can see this little guy's character coming to life. He's such a happy baby, and of course, just like his dentist duo mom and dad, he has a PERFECT smile already (although he doesn't quite have as many teeth - ha!).

Congrats once again, Kara and Dom! What a precious baby boy you have! I can't wait till we finish this very special year of documenting Milaan's tiny little life so far, when we meet in six months to celebrate his one-year birthday! :O)

Hope everyone enjoys the samples and slideshow: Milaan's Six-Month Session

Leah & Erik's Fort Desoto Park, Tampa Bay Destination Wedding

In late May, I had a the privilege of working with Leah and Erik for their amazing destination wedding at Fort Desoto Park at the south end of St. Pete Beach, Florida. This beach has been voted and ranked the most beautiful beach in America by several leading travel magazines, so we were expecting great things. It was a really fun time for these two and their family, even when a massive thunderstorm rolled in and tried to dampen the festivities (fortunately, we had gotten some amazing sunset photos the day before, during their rehearsal).

With our epic sunset rained out, Kara and I agreed to stay late with everyone and head over to the fishing pier, since it is lit all night and opened 24 hours. We all had a blast getting these one-of-a-kind night formals on the pier, and on the beach and rocks below.

Congrats, Leah and Erik! You two are truly amazing. It was our utmost pleasure to have been able to go the distance and think outside the box to make sure your wedding weekend memories were captured and preserved in the most authentic, creative and fun way imaginable. Bless you both in your life's journey as husband and wife!!

Kimberly & Gary's Orlando Wedding

Our team at Cannonfire Photography really enjoyed Kimberly and Gary's Orlando wedding a couple of weeks ago. These two tied the knot in Orlando on May 23rd. I've known Kimberly for 10 years now, having the privilege to see her grow into the beautiful young lady that she's become. Gary is a great guy, and a perfect match for her. I'm so happy for them! Their wedding ceremony was at the Church of the Incarnation in College Park, followed by a reception at Ventura Country Club.

Special thanks to Carrie Walker with Beautiful One Photography, for helping me out on this one.

Congrats, Kimberly and Gary. Hope you enjoy the samples and slideshow: Kimberly & Gary's Wedding

Julie & Mike's Cocoa Beach Engagement Session

I had a blast a couple of weeks ago with Julie and Mike for their engagement session. Julie's family has a oceanfront place at Cocoa Beach, so we started there. Then we went to Merritt Island High School, where Mike was a star football player. He went on to play at the University of Florida, while Julie is an Auburn University girl. SEC football games could get interesting with these two!

The third and final part of our session was at Cocoa Village, where we enjoyed a breezy time by the river and downtown Cocoa.

I'm looking forward to their October wedding. It's going to be a beautiful day!

Diane & Charlie's Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Wedding

On May 16th, Diane and Charlie tied the knot at Paradise Cove, Orlando. Charlie is a really good friend who I used to work with at Sport Fishing magazine, when we were both editors there earlier this decade. We still stay in touch and now in 2009, we both celebrate wedding milestones in the same year. Diane is his perfect match, as she is warm, fun and beautiful. Excited for you and Di, Charlie! Thanks so much for inviting us to be such a special part of your big day.

Eades Family Day at the Beach

Last week I had a wonderful opportunity to be a blessing to the Eades Family. They've had a really challenging personal situation they've had to go through earlier this year, so my hope was to get them out to the beach and enjoy a beautiful sunrise together.

Mission accomplished! I think they'll love these, don't you?...

Oliver Family, Island Style

Last weekend I met up with the Oliver family on Amelia Island for a really fun beach family session at their beach condo. We had such a good time, and the kids couldn't get enough of being in front of the camera. So we kept on shooting until dark-thirty, lol. I actually shot a record number of frames for a family session, with over 760 frames in two hours. Wow! Good luck picking the best ones for wall art, Cindy! So many good ones...

Here's a few of the best, as well as the slideshow: Oliver Family

A couple of weekends ago I met up with the Boyle family at their Boca Grande beach house for some group shots with the grown-up kids and new grandbaby. The weather was beautiful, the water was an amazing shade of blue-green, and the family was dressed perfectly for the occasion.

Tiny Newborn Walker Twins

I recently got to enjoy time with my good friends Ryan and Carrie Walker, to celebrate the homecoming of their newborn twins Adalyn and Camden. These two precious babies are so tiny that it's hard to even describe in words. So, of course, I took some photos with my favorite Orlando baby photographer, their mommy Carrie, who owns Beautiful One Photography. She set them up for me, and I composed the image and fired away.

Here's what we came up with. :o)

The Quilty Family Life

Last Saturday morning was one of the most fun family photo sessions I've had yet. I joined the Quilty family at their home along the bayshore in St. Pete for a morning documenting the love and joy they have together as a family. By the end of the session, we had tons of great images, and I did something I'm quite sure no other photographer would ever do -- I jumped into the pool with the kids, fully dressed! I'd do anything for this crew. What a special family. Thank you, Quilty fam, for blessing me with the privilege to capture the essence of who you are as a family. I look forward to many more updates in coming months and years.

Casey & Mick's Eau Gallie Yacht Club Wedding

Casey & Mick have known each other pretty-much all their lives. They first met when they were 6 or 7, and even in spite of living in different places at times during childhood, stayed connected as friends. Their wedding story is one that is years in the making, with a foundation that is rooted deeply in their enduring friendship bond, and yet is also overflowing with joyful passion and romantic love toward each other. One doesn't have to be around them for long to realize how special their relationship is.

We feel so privileged and honored to have been asked to document your wedding journey, Casey & Mick. I'm sure this will not be the last time we join you for a special event or milestone in your lives. And many are sure to follow! May God bless you both richly as husband and wife.

Special thanks to the best photographer friend and colleague I know, Mike Buoy with Mike Buoy Photography for the help shooting this one.Mike Buoy for helping out with this one.

Austin's Rock-Star H.S. Senior Session!

I met Austin and his family a little over a month ago at a corporate Christmas party photo shoot. I've been excited ever since to capture a rockin' high-school senior session of him. So recently we met at the Ocala Gallery, walked outside to the cool urban shooting landscape, and had a blast.

Thanks, Austin (and his most avid fan - his mom, Karen) for a great time. You do indeed look like a rock star!!

Tiny Newborn Milaan

I just had a remarkable privilege to capture a lifestyle newborn session with 9-day-old Milaan, who is the firstborn son of my 2007 wedding clients, Kara and Dominic. You may have seen their maternity session on the blog a couple of months ago. Well, now that this precious baby boy is here, I didn't want to waste any time capturing the first of his three "Baby's First Year" sessions. We'll do another one in about 6 months, and then complete this incredibly memorable package around his one-year-old birthday.

Thanks for inviting me to continue the journey with you, Kara and Dom! What an exciting time!

Biltmore Babies

Over the holidays, I went over to Clearwater's Belleview Biltomore hotel, where I met up with one of my favorite clients, Jules, and her friend, Amy. We spent the next couple of hours enjoying a fun session of their babies. Jules' little one, Sonoma, is six months, and so is Amy's little girl, Makenna. As a bonus, Makenna's older sister, Brooke, also enjoyed some camera time.

We all had a blast and I think you'll see, we got some really cute images of the kids too!

Kimberly & Gary's Downtown Ocala Engagement Session

Last week Kimberly and Gary took a road trip from Orlando to visit our amazing downtown Ocala Fine Art Portrait gallery and take some time to capture lots of fun engagement photos in our "downtown backyard." These two are crazy about each other, and happy in love, so it wasn't too difficult to cultivate an experience I'm sure they'll always remember.

Charlie and Diane's Winter Park Engagement Session

Last weekend I met up with my good friend Charlie, his fiancee Diane, and his dog Blue, for a kickin' engagement session in Winter Park, at Rollins College. Charlie and I go back about six years or so, as we worked together as editors at Sport Fishing magazine. Since then, his success has taken him down the hall to another prestigious fishing magazine for bluewater fishermen called Marlin magazine. He's a great writer, and his articles and stories always take me back to my days traveling the world and covering the most unique and amazing fishing adventures on our planet.

I'm so happy he's found someone who matches him and complements him as well as Diane does. They're sure to be happy together as future husband and wife, and I'm excited to join them as their wedding photographer next May 16th at Paradise Cove Resort near Disney World.

Here's their slideshow and some of my favorite images from our session: Charlie & Diane's engagement
