In late May, I had a the privilege of working with Leah and Erik for their amazing destination wedding at Fort Desoto Park at the south end of St. Pete Beach, Florida. This beach has been voted and ranked the most beautiful beach in America by several leading travel magazines, so we were expecting great things. It was a really fun time for these two and their family, even when a massive thunderstorm rolled in and tried to dampen the festivities (fortunately, we had gotten some amazing sunset photos the day before, during their rehearsal).
With our epic sunset rained out, Kara and I agreed to stay late with everyone and head over to the fishing pier, since it is lit all night and opened 24 hours. We all had a blast getting these one-of-a-kind night formals on the pier, and on the beach and rocks below.
Congrats, Leah and Erik! You two are truly amazing. It was our utmost pleasure to have been able to go the distance and think outside the box to make sure your wedding weekend memories were captured and preserved in the most authentic, creative and fun way imaginable. Bless you both in your life's journey as husband and wife!!
