Jamie & Chris' Jacksonville, Florida, Cummer Museum Engagement Session

Last week I caught up with Jamie & Chris for their engagement session. This October I have an incredible opportunity to be the photographer of their wedding, which will be the first ever wedding ceremony to take place at Jacksonville's beautiful Crummer Museum of Art & Gardens. There are so many places on the grounds to capture amazing nature- and art-inspired images. Where do we begin??? We had a blast exploring and getting to know each other, in spite of the super-muggy weather! I can't wait for their big day. Wow, the photos they are going to end up with are going to be out of this world! Congrats, Jamie and Chris! So excited about your wedding in a couple of months.

Andee & Daniel's Melbourne, Central Florida, Engagement and Wedding

Last weekend I met up with Andee & Daniel to get capture their engagement and wedding imagery. And since Andee is the sister of one of my favorite clients, Trey (and Lizi!), we're doing like I love to do -- keep it in the family! I love showing up at weddings as the photographer and it's like a big reunion of clients that have become like close friends through the journey. I can see the same happening with Andee and Daniel, as these two are just amazing, wonderful people who are so perfect for each other. Congrats to you two, and thanks for inviting us to capture the beauty of your relationship!

Kim & Fayez's Cocoa Village, Central Florida Engagement Session

A couple of weeks ago Kara and I met up with our really fun and crazy October 10th wedding clients, Kim and Fayez. They chose Cocoa Village, Florida, as their locale, as it holds special meaning to them as a couple. We had a great time hanging out and getting to know them before we started shooting. I enjoyed their laughter and joy that they are so obviously filled to overflowing because of how they enjoy God's blessing of each other. These two are going to be an amazing ministry team together, as they continue to seek to give their lives to serving God.

I couldn't be more excited about having the privilege to be their wedding photographer this Fall. Thanks, Kim and Fayez. We hope you enjoy the samples and slideshow presentation: Kim & Fayez's Engagement Session

Leah & Erik's Fort Desoto Park, Tampa Bay Destination Wedding

In late May, I had a the privilege of working with Leah and Erik for their amazing destination wedding at Fort Desoto Park at the south end of St. Pete Beach, Florida. This beach has been voted and ranked the most beautiful beach in America by several leading travel magazines, so we were expecting great things. It was a really fun time for these two and their family, even when a massive thunderstorm rolled in and tried to dampen the festivities (fortunately, we had gotten some amazing sunset photos the day before, during their rehearsal).

With our epic sunset rained out, Kara and I agreed to stay late with everyone and head over to the fishing pier, since it is lit all night and opened 24 hours. We all had a blast getting these one-of-a-kind night formals on the pier, and on the beach and rocks below.

Congrats, Leah and Erik! You two are truly amazing. It was our utmost pleasure to have been able to go the distance and think outside the box to make sure your wedding weekend memories were captured and preserved in the most authentic, creative and fun way imaginable. Bless you both in your life's journey as husband and wife!!

Julie & Mike's Cocoa Beach Engagement Session

I had a blast a couple of weeks ago with Julie and Mike for their engagement session. Julie's family has a oceanfront place at Cocoa Beach, so we started there. Then we went to Merritt Island High School, where Mike was a star football player. He went on to play at the University of Florida, while Julie is an Auburn University girl. SEC football games could get interesting with these two!

The third and final part of our session was at Cocoa Village, where we enjoyed a breezy time by the river and downtown Cocoa.

I'm looking forward to their October wedding. It's going to be a beautiful day!

Kimberly & Gary's Downtown Ocala Engagement Session

Last week Kimberly and Gary took a road trip from Orlando to visit our amazing downtown Ocala Fine Art Portrait gallery and take some time to capture lots of fun engagement photos in our "downtown backyard." These two are crazy about each other, and happy in love, so it wasn't too difficult to cultivate an experience I'm sure they'll always remember.

Charlie and Diane's Winter Park Engagement Session

Last weekend I met up with my good friend Charlie, his fiancee Diane, and his dog Blue, for a kickin' engagement session in Winter Park, at Rollins College. Charlie and I go back about six years or so, as we worked together as editors at Sport Fishing magazine. Since then, his success has taken him down the hall to another prestigious fishing magazine for bluewater fishermen called Marlin magazine. He's a great writer, and his articles and stories always take me back to my days traveling the world and covering the most unique and amazing fishing adventures on our planet.

I'm so happy he's found someone who matches him and complements him as well as Diane does. They're sure to be happy together as future husband and wife, and I'm excited to join them as their wedding photographer next May 16th at Paradise Cove Resort near Disney World.
