Cannonfire Photography’s
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I choose Cannonfire Photography?
Corporate clients tell us they choose Cannonfire Photography - and continue to use our photography services for annual events and company personnel changes - for our professionalism, consistency, vibrant images, and integrity. Our lead photographer, Jason Cannon, has over 30 years of experience in the professional photography industry. Learning photography in the darkroom era means he continues to strive for perfection to capture the essential elements of every image IN camera. For our clients, this translates to respect for your time.
What types of businesses does Cannonfire Photography typically work with?
We work with a lot of financial institutions, theme park and hospitality companies, law firms, healthcare industry, service industry, real estate, small business and personal brands.
Does Cannonfire Photography have a studio? If not, where do we go for a headshot session?
We do not have a retail studio, as we have learned that the vast majority of our clients prefer us to go to them. We have a portable studio that we set up in your office or at your conference/meeting location for indoor portraits. Or for outdoor looks, we meet at a location that is convenient for you, or one of our recommended favorite local spots primarily in Winter Garden and Orlando.
What do I wear for headshots with Cannonfire Photography?
For ladies, we recommend a solid colored top with muted colors. Bright colors can really be a distraction from your face, which is what is most important to focus on in a professional headshot. If wearing a jacket, go with black or navy, with a white, beige or muted color top. Minimize jewelry as well, other than a thin necklace or small earrings, since that is also a distraction. For men, keep it classic with an ironed long-sleeve button-up dress shirt in white or non-bright colors, and if adding a sport-coat, dark blue or dark gray is best. If in an industry or position that isn't as formal, dress for your position/role, but in general avoid bright colors, patterns and logos for a less-distracting, focused look.
Do you retouch the finalized headshot images?
Our standard retouching includes lightening and softening wrinkles around the eyes, as well as non-freckle/mole facial blemish removal, a slight softening of all facial wrinkles, and removal of stray hairs.
How long does it take to receive my final headshot images?
It's generally only 3-5 days to finish and deliver your headshot images. For branding and event photography, we keep you updated on an estimated timeline for when you can expect to receive your final images.
